From Zero to my Latest Hero....

Apologies for a splash and dash blog post this week – but I’m writing, working, writing, working, writing….

Although, don't you dash off just yet – because I did do an interview this week with innovative reader/writer website Loveahappyending.com founder Linn B Halton.  Linn asked me to spill the beans on the specifics of my ‘From Zero to my Latest Hero…’ talk at the Loveahappyending Summer Audience Event of the 16th June - and this is what I had to say…!

Do tell me - what are YOU busy doing this week…?

Hi Janice - school is back in after the weekend. The last week or so has been raining..so it has been a long one trying to entertain a five year old. I'm opting to do some serious short story writing and hopefully something inspires me for some ideas for a new novel. x

I'm spending too much time on Social networking, preparing something for the writing group, and judging a story comp! Haven't done enough writing.

Been on holidays from my day job this week and trying to turn an re-write around fairly quickly. I don't think it's going to happen though unless the writing fairy shows up and waves her magic wand over my laptop.

Must get ready now to go to a day of writing workshops I signed up for last month.

The summer audience event sounds fab!

I've been busy being annoyed. It's been quite trying!

Hi Diane - gosh I do remember what it was like trying to amuse little ones during school holidays and how that conflicted with writing. I remember I used to get most done when they went(early)to bed!

Kitty - thanks for your lovely comment - did you see the one I left on your blog? You are the winner of the heart shaped chocs!

Rosemary - I know what you mean about the distractions - I have too many too!

Melanie - I know you are in the 'edit cave' at the moment but keep going as I can't wait to read your book!

Talli - yes, the Loveahappyending Summer Event is fast approaching and I'm so looking forward to it. I hope you can get there but if you can't then I'll look forward to meeting you in July at the RNA Conference. Why are you busy being annoyed by the way - do tell - can anyone help...?

I'm busy finishing a necklace I'm beading, just finished reading an ARC of Ninepins by Rosy Thornton to review, trying to work my way through a huge tbr pile - the usual!
